Giving back to the community has always been a strong focus for 360HR, and Christmas is a great time to remember there are so many with so little.
There are hundreds of ways you can give back this Christmas, so to make it easy for you we’ve put together a list of 5 ways you can give and make your heart soar.
1. Toy or Book Appeal for disadvantaged children
The Smith Family’s Toy & Book Appeal is your opportunity to help bring a smile to a disadvantaged child’s face this Christmas. You can buy a book or toy online, make a financial donation or collect new toys and books as a community group.

2. Give a gift and make a wish
The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal (Salvation Army) is Australia’s largest and longest running Christmas gift appeal. They receive a lot of gifts for children, but also distribute gifts for everyone that might be having a hard time including adults and seniors. This is a great one to do with your kids to teach them the power of giving and don’t forget to make your own wish when you place the gift under ‘The Wishing Tree’.
3. Buy a chicken for $38
By purchasing a mother hen and her adorable chicks for a family in South Africa through Oxfam Unwrapped, you are also providing them with an income, eggs and the ability to breed more chickens in the future. It’s a little gift that will change a lot.
Oxfam Unwrapped is a personal favourite of 360HR. It’s how we celebrate birthdays with our team. We receive an e-card with a birthday message and feel warm and fuzzy knowing our gift is helping others.

Most of the world’s out of school young people are girls. For $75 you can provide one girl with the essential things she needs to attend school for a year and she will have a better chance to grow up to earn an income, be healthy and educate her own children.

The DANII Foundation supports all people living with Diabetes.
