360HR Case Study CPA

For over 70 years, the Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) has been blazing trails for people living with physical disabilities. The critical support and research they provide rely on a strong fundraising team.

In addition to their influential and innovative support programs, CPA also blaze trails with their fundraising.  When the Head of Partnerships and Events role fell vacant due to an internal promotion, CPA needed to recruit a professional with a proven track record, both in not-for-profit fundraising and event management.

CPA turned to 360HR with our specialisation in not-for-profit recruiting and consulting.  As well as getting to know exactly the type of candidate CPA were looking for, 360HR’s Patrick Cameron also took the time to pinpoint why this role was such an important opportunity for the right person. This involved working with CPA to understand where and how this role sat within CPA’s broader strategic vision. This allowed 360HR to craft a strong narrative that brought to life the scale of the opportunity for the prospective candidates.

Patrick also utilised the extensive 360HR networks that enabled him to pinpoint a number of suitable candidates for the new roles. The successful candidate has been in the role now for over 12 months, is a key member of a high-performing team and has exceeded their fundraising targets.
