Bookkeeper

We are assisting our client in the recruitment of a Bookkeeper to assist the business on a part time basis working 2 days per week located in the Fairy Meadow office. An immediate start is available.

The main duties of this role will include:
  • Bank reconciliation for all company files
  • Accounts payable/accounts receivable reconciliation
  • Payroll/STP compliance, Superannuation, WorkCover, monthly payroll tax, wages reconciliation
  • Preparation/lodgement of activity statements
  • Month end accounting
  • Helping prepare monthly management reports
  • Reporting on legislative changes that are relevant to payroll
  • Administration when required
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • At least 3 years experience in a bookkeeping or accounting assistant role
  • Prior knowledge of ecommerce, exports or inventory is preferable
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and Excel
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Demonstrate initiative and have a proactive approach to managing your workload and deadlines
  • Flexible and able to effectively deal with changes in business needs as they arise
