Customer Solutions Manager

This growing Australian importing and distribution company is based at Brookvale on the northern beaches of Sydney. There is onsite parking available and they are conveniently located close to Warringah Mall Shopping Centre, with access to public transport.

Originally established in 1923, from 18 staff in 2013, the company now employ over 50 staff and revenue has more than doubled during that period.

They are now seeking a Senior Customer Solutions Leader to manage the customer solutions activities for the organisation which includes mentoring and leading three Customer Solutions Officers.

The Role

This isn’t your typical order taking, customer service department. While there is some phone interaction with customers, most of the orders are via email. It’s quite diverse and you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring the process from placement of the order to the order being delivered to the customer. Your department’s functions include, but are not limited to, order processing, communication (and periodic visits) with customers, forecasting, pricing, CRM upkeep, debtor management and incident management. You will be working closely with the external commercial sales business units.

To be considered, you must have had similar experience and possess very good verbal and written communication skills, along with being an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

You also must also possess strong planning skills, organising skills, attention to detail, good keyboard skills and be comfortable working with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc). Experience with MS Teams and Pronto would be an advantage.
