Sales Representative – Construction Hire Market

Ideally you will be someone who has sold industrial hire equipment into the commercial construction market. Alternatively, you may have sold other products or services into the traffic management, road or general construction market and have a good understanding of how one or more of those markets operate.

Across Australia & New Zealand, the company:-

  • Has sales approaching $200 million
  • Employs over 600 staff
  • Is growing at over 10% annually
  • Has around 4,500 product lines
  • Has over 55 sites, including distribution centres & retail outlets
This role:-
  • Reports to the Head of NZ
  • Is based out of the Manukau Site in Auckland
  • Is responsible for generating new business
You must:-
  • Be a strong new business “hunter”
  • Thrive on the challenge of securing new clients
  • Be happy to cold call
  • Be motivated by exceeding sales targets
You must have:-
  • Previous cold calling experience
  • Been employed in a external sales role in New Zealand or Australia
  • Easily understood verbal English language communication skills
  • NZ Citizenship or Australian Citizenship or New Zealand Permanent Residency
Remuneration will include:-
  • Base salary based on experience ($70k to $75k)
  • Car allowance ($17k)
