As a result of a promotion, my client is seeking a Technical Account Manager for their Performance Ingredients division in NZ. In this role, you will be responsible for the sales growth of performance additives and materials to manufacturers and marketers of personal care, cosmetics, nutraceutical and household/industrial cleaning products. These are key markets for the organisation.
The customer base includes major local and international marketers and manufacturers, contract manufacturers and blenders as well as smaller niche players looking for an innovative edge. The product range includes antiperspirant actives, emollients, dispersants, surfactants, essential oils, suspending agents, rheology modifiers, natural extracts, conditioning agents and polymers, emulsion stabilizers and skin care actives.
If you’re an outgoing, career focused individual, who has worked as a new product development chemist or is qualified in a cosmetic or personal care product formulation science, this role could be ideal for you. It is expected that you will be tertiary qualified in Science or Chemistry.
Business to business sales experience would be favourable.
